July 9, 2025 Elizabeth, July 23, 2026 I just realized last Wednesday that I have undiagnosed ADHD. While it may be a few weeks before I receive a formal diagnosis, this is something I believe I’ve had since childhood, though for an inexplicable reason I was not fully aware of it until last week, at the ripe age of 50. It just seemed that it was no longer something out of my awareness, and that now is the time for me, and those around me, to know what is going on in my mind. I find it a relief to finally understand why I am the way I am. I’ve always felt different from other people, and it seemed to me to be a pretty marked difference. Now I know why. I am planning to rearrange this page, but I am unsure when I will get to it. But I am hoping to put the most recent posts toward the top of the page, rather than below. This past week I found myself writing two poems, and a piece of flash fiction. One of them was Someone Like Me, a poem reflecting on the nature of who I am. I’ll see you next week. 🙂 Uncategorized
