Poems can range in length as well, and can take the form of prose or rhyming poetry, depending on my mood and the thoughts and ideas running through my mind that day. My brain is a veritable minefield and treasure trove. I never know what I’m going to come across. To me, as a creative, this is vital to my success in writing. I am truly grateful for being able to write. Without it, I would not be who I am today. Creative writing is a true joy of mine. It was a personal gift I did not share with the world for many years. Then starting in my late twenties, I decided to jump with two feet into self-publishing my first book ever. (The link is above). Though unrefined in many ways, I have spent the past 25 years honing this craft, and creating more works that seem to improve with time.
